The pumps are held in place with a water tight grommet. There is no tubing involved. The intake sucks the water directly into the pump.

The intake to the pump is a normal nozzle as used in an inline system. The "washer" part of the grommet acts like a clamp. Once on, I could not get them off. Then the bottom parts screws up tight. I do not think I will get any leaks!?! (I hope)

All the res joints are sealed with Plumbers goop. If you noticed that the bolts lift from the bottom of the res. This prevents any weight on the joints. All the weight, including the pumps, are thru the base plate and then thru the bolts.

The res was very difficult to make but worth it, I think
