That program is just way too complicated for just making blocks, lol.

The AutoCad learning assistance CD i have is of no real help either.
Instead of making it 3D, just do it 2D (top view only). Thats all I do as of now. When I edit the GNC code for the mill I add the depths of the passes I want to make the final depth of the channel or what ever cut I am making. Therefor I don't need a 3D model to make the block.

But it does look cool when you post a pic! The only reason I kind of know what I am doing is because I took 3yrs of ACAD in highschool. The first year it was on those old Apple's equivelent to the 286's. That was in 9th grade, skipped it in 10th and they got brand new 386's at 33mhz!!! Wooohooo we though. That was the first year of CAD that actually resimbles ACAD2000, I belive it was called CAD 11 or something like that. Then in 12th grade they got a brand new 486 at 50mhz and one of the writing tablets to where you can put a hand drawn object on the tablet and copy it with the pen that hooks into the computer. That was CAD 12 I belive.

I never did any 3D in any of those classes, all we did was basic house plans ect... I still suck at ACAD2000 though. Slowly figuring it out.
