Oh, I definitely know what you people mean. The word "gumption" comes to mind, for you zen motorcycle mechanics out there. I've built two wc systems so far, the first time, I was nervous as hell powering on the first time. Walking back to my dorm after classes, I used to hope I wouldn't see smoke coming out of my room. Thankfully, everything worked flawlessly.
The BEST part was, at a demonstration for our (group of 4) collaborative senior project (we made an RPG kinda), I got to say "Hold on a sec, lemme turn on the water pump" when it was my turn.
