Now I'm reading rumours that:
a) Nvidia will open it's own plant, and b) they will buy the VisionTek name for said plant, to keep the familiarity factor in the marketplace.
IMO, a) makes sense, they can keep a tighter rein on production, but b) would be stupid at this point.
Word is spreading that VisionTek is gone, I wouldn't hang a tarnished name on my products. Just because people like us would know the truth, wouldn't help "VisionTek" with the retail market. They'd have to spend more on re-affirming the name, then they would on a new name.
Would you buy anything in the future from anyone called Worldcom or Enron?
