if I got the same Temps you did I would be happy. I don't know how flaky the Asus probe is. Anyway, I'm not to good at converting temps. With my a/c on in my room I keep the ambien around 78F, which my CPU idle then is around 54C idle, and 56C Full load....
With my a/c off my ambient temp rises to about 88+ and my CPU temp is idle is 57C, as the temp gets higher ambient, I start to reach 59C at which any kinda load on my cpu and I get a BSOD error. This is with the ASUS monitor which I don't know how true it is at all. With my a/c full on, I can get my idle temps below 49C which is ambient about 70F and my computer is noisy as hell. I keep my a/c on around 78F anyways, nice and comfy. Although on days when I don't need my computer and monitor heat my tiny room up to the point where I need or I get BSOD errors.
Anyway lets get more onto water cooling, which water block do I want?
I was looking at the Maze2, I plan on getting the Black Ice. I'm not sure which fan... I want the quitest system I can get, fan and pump wise.
Now which pump do I want? It needs to be inline cause I'm doing with a resevoir.
Also what kind of tubing do I need? And do I go with 3/8" or 1/2" fittings?
What about cooling addatives? Purple ice, water wetter, etc... Will these addatives how any side effects using a dye light?
I think thats what that stuff was called you place a little into your water and use black light and it will make your hoses or tubes flourescent? I also got some wire looms, that do the same thing with a black light. I read somewhere about some stuff you can place on a rag and rub it over your ribbon cables to have the same effect with a black light.
Thanks for anymore help. Maybe after I do this water cooling setup. I'll go after a peltier system, from what I understand I have to put silicone or something similar on my motherboard...
Anywho thanks for anymore help you can give.
