damn, well that did not help... I almost lost the bios (the first time I tried it I used the Alt+F2 method and 3/4 of the way through I heard this big beep and the whole computer restarted... so then that flash was toasted and the only thing I could do was boot from a floppy and reflash (I was sweating bad during that little experience...) now I can only go as high as 11.5 (default of the chip) I used to be able to get 12.5 (when I set the multiplier on 13) I wonder if the conductive paint peeled or something? Anyway here are the multiplier results:
6 thru 10.5 No post
11 ok
11.5 ok (default for chip)
now the wierd part...
12 = 11
13 = 11.5
14 = 5
15 = 5.5
