Designwise the BIX is no more restrictive in the air-side of the radiator chain as the honeycomb type heatercores.
Heatercores are simply bigger internally in volume, thus benefitting from greater surface are and internal pressure drop.
If we were to design the Black Ice Radiators in the same proportions we would get far better results because of the materials, in this case copper fins, as opposed to brass.
But it would be a difficult proposition in terms of installation.
We will be implementing a few more tweaks on the rads in the next quarter which should improve overall performance.
