The BIX manufacturer asserts that a 100 CFM fan will get the best out of the rad, but even a Panaflo Low volume will do nicely... A thicker fan will give you more flow at less noise, so 38mm is the one to go for. Panaflo fans are the daddy. Put a one inch shroud between fan and BIX for best performance, if possible.
