I have found an Eheim 1046 in the Pet Centar in Osijek, (
www.pet-centar.hr), there is also one of their shops in Zagreb, but they don't have the pumps on their web shop. You'll have to make some telephone calls... The price was 450 kn (roughly 53$), and I asked around in several more pet shops, they told me that it can be done by order, but the prices ranged from 500 kn (58$) to 550 kn (64$) for 1046. I didn't even ask for 1048 or stronger...
as for the blocks, good for you! Post the pics, temps, and I'll be glad to see what that blocks look in the inside, so do a little drawing!
