I'd go with the Maze2. I haven't seen a comparaision of the new Maze2 "upgrade" yet, but I doubt the spiral outperforms it by much if at all. It certainly is good for flow, but those channel walls are pretty thin. I'd think they wouldn't carry nearly as much heat away from the spreader as the Maze2. OTOH the higher flow may compensate for the thinner walls . . .

Either way the Maze2 is a solid block and you can't go wrong with it. Personally I'd wait for Spiral benches to see for sure, but if you can't wait the Maze will be fine.
