With finishing up my degree and then moving to Canada for a job, this project took me MUCH longer than I expected. But finally it is done. Here is a pic of the overall finished system:
It's a PC-50 mini/mid tower with custom waterjet cut windows on top and side (and a bay cover with air exhausts). The PC-50 by default has the PSU mounted sideways over the CPU, but as you can see by looking down the top window:
I moved it. You can see that I made a custom backplate for 80mm fan and AC plugs for PSU and pump:
You can see the PSU in its new home along with all the other goodies of the system with the side off:
PSU is in top 2 bays, Enermax adjustable fans all around, chrome Black Ice Extreme rad and custom shroud, Laguna 300 GPH pump modified for inline use, Innovatek rev3 waterblock for CPU and Innovatek block for GPU. Both blocks were modded for 1/2" barbs:
And finally a pic of the 2x16 Crystalfontz LCD with custom faceplate, the air outlets for the PSU, and the aluminum faceplate I made for my Liteon CD-RW.
Some of the pics aren't all that great; it's dim in my office right now.
System specs are as follows:
