You know, I thought that I'd NEVER recommend this pump, but this VIA 1300 (370GPH) 6' ,max, is a STEAMSHIP of power, but with that power, you'll pay the price of 60hz NOISE hmm'ing away from it. I don't like that it has a plastice shaft, but it's a solid pump, noisey, powerful and produces some heat, but for $22 can't beat it for the GPH... I'd also recommend a RIO 1100 or 1400 series, as they are cheap in price and pump quiet nicely... I'm TOTALLY against paying Ehiem prices for an oversized/priced pump that delivers inferior numbers for the money... but do what ya pockets can afford... oh yeah, them Maxi-jets are nice too for the $$$... If you want, I'll sell you my Via 1300... PM me and we'll work a nice price for ya, if you like...?
