Sadly, I don't speak french, learned german in elementary school, so I can use what I remember (Ich heise Heidi stuff), then switched to english. Tried to learn japanese myself (just to be a higher grade weirdo), bought the book and the tape, but it ended similar like german (Konnichiwa, o genki desu ka...)
@ambient: yes, I believe that life can be easyer without wrestling with pvc stuff, I recently bought some silicone tubing (the shop had only 8 mm ID, but I couldn't resist), after that I found another shop having wider ID silicone, but not in stock, so I decided to wait... I like the softness of the silicone, and I'm bound to try some tygon soon...
btw, that japanese expression means roughly 'Good morning/evening, how are you'
