Default semi finished h20 case.

Sup fellas, I've been reading these forums for a LONG time and havent opened my big mouth much. Until now, for the past few weeks my obsession has been to water cool my old 900mhz tbird to keep up with all my friends w/ XP's @14-1800mhz. Through tedious reading and expert help It has become possible. I would be happy to answer any questions for watercooling beginners as it is MUCH easier than it looks. Special thanks to TechGuy for more help than he knows.

To begin. Space was a concern in my cramped Antec sx830 so i opted to put the equipment in an old atx case which once housed my firewall. This turned out to be a good move as the case panels have cutouts (yet to be finished) and neons. To ensure the Rad fitting well i cut the front bezel off of the case and flipped it upside down. I JB-Welded it back together and it fits like a charm.

Here you see how the reservoir is tied into the case and where the silicone tubing meets it. At the center of an old fan grill. This worked well as it secured the Tubing and Res well and provided an easy method of fastening for the waterfilled res which is a Dubro RC car gasoline tank, Bought from your local hobby store. You can also see how i power the 120mm panaflo L1a fan over the rad. Using the PSU trick this was easy. I soldered in some connections and made the psu available on/off via a switch w/ a led.

All 1/2" ID Tubing and the wonderfull Maze 2-1 Waterblock from DangerDen.

Summary Pic, relating hardware to space.

Dual Inline temperature probes made by T-Connectors, Compunurses, and a LOT of RTV Silicone.

Here is the pump mounted to the case, Grommets on both sides top/bottom as well as a cut up mousepad to eliminate as much vibration as possible. This runs remarkably quiet. Also, the temp of the conditioned water, immediatly out of the radiator. At 21.3 Im a happy camper.

Front on shot, view of top case handle, and front bezel screening.

View from da side.

-When i get the computer to it's final destination (School) ill post pics of everything installed as well as benchmarks.
