OK here is the scoop on the cheap Tygon:

For all intents and purposes it appears to be plain PVC clear tubing, fairly flrxible but nothing to write home about.
Manufactuor : KURIYAMA
Model : Kuri Tec K010
1/2" I.D. 5/8" O.D.
70 F Non Toxic NSF 51

Thats the info off the hose it self, I saw a small print out on some of the applications, Berverage industry type, Temp range was 25 to 150 degrees ( did not see if it was C or F

I think I can make it work but its NOT Tygon specced as far as I can tell.

Some of you who know much more than I look and see if you think I am shooting myself in the foot or will this stuff work.
