I would try to run the inlets parallel. Basically have a "T" on the first block, then a "L" on the second IN fitting, then have 2 INs on your airtrap. This SHOULD ballance the flow better in theory, but running through the fittings may have a negative impact on flow to the point where it will hurt your temps over running them in series. I haven't tried this myself, but it is how I envisioned a dual AMD watercooling rig.
