I'm torn between the two!, I want to get everything inside my case. the Deep(£47) would make it very easy, fitted at the front~bottm sucking air in, with a 120mm~fan blow hole up top to equalise pressure, ect...
The Abyss is twice the size for £19 more(£65), but would have to be mounted above the CPU (move PSU to 5.5bays) and would be drawing in case air unless I had it drawing air in downwards into the case, which is not 100% efficiant
, it would involve two fans for rad and another two for inlets to balance the airflow. noise is a concern with me. I want it as quiet as possible!(7V or potentio').
Do you think the extra cooling capacity is warranted?, for a non TEC rig?. for the hassle of fitting it?. or do you think the Deep is fine?, I can always get another later(when I save!
) and run them parallel/series with an uprated pump(planning on Iwaki 20RZT)...
Another tidbit: according to OCPC's manufature site the Abyss has a pressure drop of 40mb @ 1000~lpm, yet the smaller Deep has 50mb @ 1000~lpm?. I wonder if the revision2 Deep is the same?...
