the tabs sticking out the bottom of the middle plate were supposed to be for the purpose of making the water travel 1st in the direction opposite the barbs, then around the sides and under the tab, then into the outlets...

i'm not sure if it will work though or if it would hurt flow rate too much


EDIT: * and I kind of understand your idea about having side outlets, but i'm not exactly sure where you are talking about putting them. plus that might be bad for motherboard clearance, though the block size could get decreased...
