Yeah was afraid that might be a problem, but didn't know what case you have.

Have you looked at that heater core site? Many sizes and you could have it chromed for eye candy if you'd like. That is what I'm thinking of doing, havn't got a price yet on the chroming though.

Look at this one on the heater core site. Go to Audi and then look up 2-541. Now picture this : Cut off the inlet/outlets so they don't curl around so darn far. Then drill large hole in the other tank & solder in a 5/8" ID barb. Now run it this way, Pump to dual inlets, then outlet to MB. This should reduce the restriction of the rad a bit with out any loss of performance as while the water is only going one way it's full width of the rad. Same resulting time in rad tubes without the need of the internal 180 U turn involved. Also doesn't resistence drop as you reduce velocity through tubing? If so this may be a whole lot lower for total resistence of the rad.
