It's a great pump. The only problem I had was how to connect it to 1/2" tubing, as the hose connectors are 20mm O/D (about 3/4") and 15mm I/D...

No problemo. Just drill a screw thread inside the pump connectors and screw in 3/8 NPT (or BSPT) to 1/2" barb insert fittings (with some teflon tape or some sealant) and presto! Adapted to 1/2" tubing. A neat and clean solution.
