I've installed the new system ( not without mishap, splashed some water in the case and screwed my IDE controller card, thought I'd dried it out properly ).
The temps show a CPU temp increase of about 5C, which I more or less expected. But the strange thing is the system temp, which has gone down by about 4C, which seems odd as the pump is now inside the case and is generating more heat.
This leads me to believe the rad is not up to the job, but for a fiver it was worth the try.
I'm thinking of investing in a "Black Ice Pro", which shouldn't need too much alteration to make it fit my existing setup. I'll fabricate another shroud to suit.
I'll post some pics of what I've done shortly.
