Thanks for replying.

The new setup didn't include the "Land Rover" heatercore ( which was fine, but too big to hang on the case ), but a motorbike cooler which I suppose I really knew was too small and not the proper configuration. 2 X 18mm cross pipes & 3 X 15mm vertical pipes, I think the water is going through the rad too quickly for any real heat extraction to take place. I suppose at 60mph + on a bike it gets plenty of air to extract the heat .

As far as the BIP is concerned, it just seems about the right size and with it being more or less just a smaller version of proper heatercore maybe it should be OK.
All heatercores I've looked at are far too big for my aim of having the whole assembly attached to or inside my case.
