I found an absolutely amazing link:

I'll be using it to help calculate the resulting flow restriction through your block (and mine!).

thanks for the link, i'll be looking around and trying to figure stuff out...hehe,
trying
As for the 6.5 gpm, since I'm still in the design phase, I could open up barb sizes and various things in the block. Though I would like to get a copper version going soon.....
Plus, I know you said the most restrictive part should be the block, I just hope its not my rad. that is most restrictive.

We might find a chart for a similar core over here .
Looking at big momma, I'd extrapolate a pressure drop of 5 psi@5 gpm. Dang, that's 11.5 feet of head!

Crap! this doesn't mean I'm gonna need a new pump, does it?
I was just looking at that Rad. article last week, could be useful, very....
As for the Rad, I couldn't just measure how much it drops my flow-rate? I mean i would have to take it out to test this and the next time i would do this is probably when i'll be putting in the new block, so it doesn't really help me now......
Ok so whats the first step to calculating pressure drop through my block?
