Default Just a lil comment

I have been lurking around for a while and just decided to register

a few gripes here, when peeps say haetercores are good, that doesn't mean a big mamma. Big momma = big bucks. I got my heater core that is identical or pretty darn close to the big momma at my local autozone for $16. I just used 1/2in tubing on the existing connectors and slipped my regular 3/8ths tubing in and sealed it up. Hardly looks ghetto. If size is a problem, stick it behind something, i put mine behind my printer stand. If you plan your tubing routes right, you can get it where you want using very little tubing. For lan parties, get some quick disconnect valves and your set.

I personally think the price performance ratio of the black ice is horrible. All it is is a small heatercore with black fins... whoop dee doo. All that it was designed specifically for computers is bull poo on a stick. The watercooling market is too small to make a radiatr just for that. It is most likely an OEM item that whoever sells it for $70 is making quite a bit of money off of.

Alos, why not try oil or tranny coolers? they are close to the same size and much cheaper. The copper ones have pretty good performace too. But if you have room, go for a heatercore.
