Try this out:

There are a couple of things to remember. The tee must be the first thing after the pump. And you must not let any air get into the pump. The smaller the tube the better you will be able to see a change.

If someone thinks I'm off base here I'd like to know why. This is how some flowmeters work by measuring pressure.

Hope it makes sense.
