Been there, done that.
Beware on some of the newer boards: what is on the POST screen isn't always what the settings really are.
On my Epox 8RDA+, you never know what the settings REALLY are until you go into WCPUID and check. Sometimes the BIOS change will be assigned and recognized in BIOS and POST, but it won't actually use those settings ... instead it'll just piddle along at 9x100 with maximum RAM timings.
