Joe is right, the chipsets advailable for the Xeons are hella beefy. The new Intel E7505 chipet which supports AGP 8X, 12GB or DDR, 533 Mhz FSB and 3.0 Ghz Xeons (not currently out yet) rocks, makes one hella workstation for professionals.

BigBen, those AMD chips aren't out yet. And I wouldn't be suprised to see their prices the same or very close to the same as the current Xeon chips.
