Basically it's a multiple block config, so i can answer (i've got 3 WBs in series currently).

Straight water will work indeed. Why a bigger pump ? If the one you had already could move the water around and produce good flow, it's enough. With a very restrictive loop, a more powerful pump will only produce more heat and very little more flow.
Just make sure the rad is up to the task. Pick up a good heatercore, and a good 120mm or 172mm fan (Papst, Comair rotron, NMB Tech).
Since you won't overclock it much, you can even reduce noise - undervolt the rad fan, and try to get rid of all case fans. It will run hotter but as long as it's stable it's ok.
