the problem is that i dont have room in my case to run the pump submerged, i might have problems fitting in the pump alone,
im going for a clean fully enclosed look,

the res will be small and mounted outside, thats why im going with a res instead. i will run the pump inline for now, if i experience any problems with the setup, i'll consider running it submerged, but it will have to be in an external res,

plus im not looking to spend alot of money on this, otherwise i would have gone with the enhiem and bought myself a larger case.

i was playing with the pump today, despite what everyone has said, its rather quite, no vibrations [yet], and really powerful. i filled an old 1g fish bowl, and hooked up the pump for inline, the water was gone in seconds.
