I should post what has happened since I started this post.

I decided to purchase the Gemini GPU block from case-mod.com and used it on my Radeon 9700 immediately. I was instantly able to hit 380Mhz on the core with no voltage mods or pelt cooling.

Then while I was measuring the space between some surface mounts so I could custom fit some heatsinks to the memory, I shorted one of the resistors and that was the end of that card

RMAed the card and got a replacement within a week. Now with the GPU block installed, I can only hit 350Mhz core and 345Mhz memory

I plan on doing a voltage mod on the 9700 as soon as I can collect the parts and set asside time to test some more. I am shooting for 400+ core and 350 mem. I may even dabble into GPU pelting if I become so inclined

I must say that I do like the Gemini block but I am VERY disappointed about killing my original Radeon. Didnt think so at the time but that was a great OC.
