Koslov: that's what I had to do with mine. Couldnt take the noise anymore and replaced it with the Ehiem. MUCH quieter.
I was just interested in seeing if there is a solution to the problem other than replace the unit.
Sounded like Billa had a possible solution for the problem but I just got too frustrated with the noise and opted for the quick way out (and save what was left of my sanity
