Both cases were ducting cool air from outside the case. The water is going from pump -> rad -> wb -> pump, the water is flowing into the center channel. AFAIK the hoses aren't pulling at all on the block either. I'm assuming at this point this is probably just a lapping problem, very annoying that a brand new block wouldn't come flat
