help me with this
here, there, and everywhere I see references to people 'imprinting' their bp or hsf with the AMD chip engraving
I'm searching to understand how this is done
the yield strength of rather pure (soft) copper is nominally 9000psi (62MPa) at 0.2% offset, or 0.5% extension under load
a 120mm² die (~0.186in²) with a 24lbf load results in an applied load of ~130psi (900kPa)
now I understand that you fellows are FAR beyond the AMD 24# spec,
but where is the force coming from to yield copper ?
BTW, I too gave up AS a long time ago
