The copper I used is 2" x 1/4 electrical grade bus bar. The base plate open areas are roughly 1/2 in diameter with 1/8 npt in the top plate for the outlet tubes. I'm not real concerned about restriction caused by the 1/8 npt as the 3/8 inlet barb is nozzled down to about 1/8" ID in a flat, high pressure stream.
Pumps in this setup are one 350gph Supreme MagDrive and a ShurFlo 12 VDC diaghram pump out of a RV. I have to run the ShurFlo throttled back to 9 volts cause I'm afraid something may give out due to pressure.
All this flows through a 18 pass 8"x 9" x 3" deep air conditioning condensor that I use for a radiator. Twin 120MM fans pull air through the fins.
After installing the block on my TBird 1.4 today, things look good. Software reports chip temp at 30c and my under core epoxied sensor shows me at 25.7c. This is just idle/web surfing loads so bear that in mind.Water temps seem to be @21-22c in the reservoir.
Not real pleased with my hose situation right now as I don't think I got a good thermal joint due to hose stress while setting up the block.I need to re-plumb the thing and make sure I have good block seating on the core.
