The normal PVC tubing that you can get at the hardware store isn't too bad, so long as you opt for the 1/8" walled stuff... the thinwall tubing isn't great for bends, though that goes for the thinwall Tygon and Clearflex as well. I do feel that it's worth the money to go with a premium PVC though.
