I tried to pry off the shim as carefully as I could to see if it would budge...everything was fine until my son tapped me on the shoulder and I put a little scratch on the GPU.

I didn't get upset, as a matter of fact I stopped what I was doing and we went into the friggid Canadian cold for some street hockey.

Well, I just put it back in and it's toasted

Now I have the nice little DangerDen cooler with no card in place except for my old Geforce 2.

I need advice...wait a few weeks until the NvidiaFX comes out and pick up the ATI 9700Pro at a more reasonable price?
