Pifffffff............ local shops around here!?!??!
They would easily try and charge me 2-3 times what Newegg is selling it for. Also most local shops dont know a Tbird from a Palimino from a Tbred. They just know its a x.xxGhz CPU and that's it.
I dont have a Frys anywhere close to me and quiet honestly I wouldnt go there and buy parts even if they were cheaper than Newegg. I have heard too many horror stories of firends and co-workers getting a steal from Frys, just to have it blow up in their face a few weeks later.
I have done a considerable amount of business with Newegg and they have YET to dissapoint me
(not to mention that overnight shipping for the price of ground is always nice
)
