Sounds a bit scary with MS buying themselves into the game market. Of course, it´s their money, they buy whatever they like.
Hopefully they will keep the programmers.
As far as I know early nVidia drives don´t show much performance, but that´s remedied after a couple of driver generations. Performance tests should be more interesting i a month or two.
