with all the fans at max RPM i'm getting 26 C on CPU 1 and 31 C on CPU 2 and a case temp of 31 C after about an hour of running idol in the bios, with the fans down in low RPM's i'm getting around 35 and 40 respectively for CPU 1 and 2 and I think it was around 35 for case temp.

i'm assuming since you said others are getting 40 C then i'm safe running it with the fans down at lower RPMs to keep it silent.
