careful. You may find that only killing the 5th L3 doesnt get you where you want to go. That results in bridge layout of c-c-c-c-o, and this doesnt' translate to a valid multiplier. There is no difference between blowing up a bridge and just shorting the socket pins on the backside of the mobo; why risk the chip?
So your mileage may vary. I couldnt get that to work on my 8K3A; I had to also short the 3rd L3 and get c-c-o-c-o, or 15x.
