Be sure to get the kind that wrap around. I had a tiny bit of steel fly up and under into my eye last summer. I never realized I could be such a baby. I also didn't realize that having someone run fluid through my eye could make my arms and legs flail uncontrolably.
It took 5 doctors to flush my eye after a little 5'2" nurse and my wife went flying trying to hold me down.
