The hacksaw just cut the top and base to size.
Since this thread popped back up I'll bring it up to date....
This block works excellent. Using the under chip epoxied sensor,I'm seeing 3-5 C over liquid temps and 7 -9 C over ambient
readings. This setup includes 2X 350 gph Supreme MagDrives a 3 " deep 8 pass heater core with 2x 120mm fans.
One note on these tiny fins....make sure you run a very fine mesh screen on your pump inlet as tiny bits of teflon, goop, fish turds, ect tend to block the water flow causing temps to creep up.
