And yes, it did run quiet hot, it can raise your water temps almost as much as a CPU can.
If you've got the money, go for a Hydrothrustor or Custom Sea Life Velocity pumps. I have a Velocity T-3 right now, and not only does it have insane head capacity (28 ft) it is very quiet. For a setup with as many restrictions as yours, you might need a pump with high head.

MY LONG LOST BROTHER!! Man, I think I was one of the 1st people to get one of them Via 1300's and I FEEL your HEAT er I mean ViBRATION, er I mean Pain! Mine Rattles, is HmmmmmmHmmmmm'ing away and w/o the system on, raises my water temps HIGHER than my CPU!!! HAHA, it's a loud, noisey POS, but it's CHEAP, and WAY more powerful/smaller than those overpriced Danners, Eheims etc... I love the little bastard! Damn Eheims sitting in cases look like mini Diesel generators! Taking up all kinds of needed space... I think they should start packaging FULL server towers with a purchase of any Ehiem! HAHA.
