Thanks fer the comments. Funny you mention that rad, as we were originally planning on using it, however the wierd mounting brackets made me decide against it. I wouldn't really know how to take them off. I also wanted the extra performance of running the the rads in parellel(although arguements provided in this thread may prove I was wrong in my assumtions.

As far as the barbs, I am using 5/8" tubing to and from the rad, and the 1/2"NPT 5/8" barb has nearly the same ID as the 1/2" copper pipe. It also gives me a bit of flexability if I choose to change tubing sizes.
