I am using .040 alum, not heavy at all, what I am doing to make it sturdy is just putting a 1" diamater piece of pvc pipe in each corner, so basicaly the pvc supports the weight of the case and not my rad enclosure, the pvc adds virtually no weight, and the alum. case can't be more than a pound or so (without the rad and pump etc...) Since I have the matterial to test out a few things, I might even cut a whole in the top of the box and let the pvc come out 1/2 an inch or so, that way the case is attached directly to the pvc, I just dont think that space will be to aestheticly pleasing.
