An interesting topic, Deepow, but would you rather focus on the technology, the weapons, or is this to be a religious debate, or a historical one?

Since I usually find what is clear to me isn't to others, your question is very reasonable.

In short give me an alternate solution for proliferation of WMD in general.

I view the Iraq war as an effort to address that problem but I'm not asking if you think Iraq has WMD. Instead, how do you plan on dealing with other unstable regimes or individuals that have no problems destroying you, your countrymen, or your country?
