saying "if you make WMDs keep'em to yourself!" fails to address the action of proliferation

yea, those are really useful - the evidence is all around us

I find WMD less distressing than the potential transfer of WMD to terrorists who have no country of their own which can be 'held hostage'

so my threshold for actionable WMD is their possession by any entity which may, repeat may, pass such to terrorists - or those who succor terrorists

we have addressed Afghanistan (to an uncertain end)
Iraq is in process
North Korea is next (commercial vendor, stated intentions)
and Iran is certain (supporter of Hezbolla/Hamas (sp), openly advocating the eradication of Israel)
