Fin Attachment
You wouldn't actually have to do any soldering by using some kind of thin copper sheet. Just cut to size and then drill holes in the sheet about 1/32" (guessing) smaller than the OD of the copper tubing and "press fit" it down onto the tubing. Maybe then a couple of spots of Arctic Silver Epoxy to hold it firmly in place. The contact should be OK as the sheet fins would flare a little bit onto the tube. You'd have to experiment with sheet thickness and hole size.
