that was an idea i had that i threw away for some reason :shrug: but now that you mentioned the flaring that would mean that more of the fins would be touching the copper pipe meaning better heat transfer. another question should i make the fins out of one big sheet of copper with lots of folds like in cars or should each fin be seperat like the one that i previosly showed from danger den and my design.
