Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the engine is seized, it's just about worthless, no?

How bad is it? Can you just change the piston sleeves and get it going, or is the engine block useless?

I had to wait until I moved state-side to see a 911, because no one is crazy enough to drive one in the Canadian winter. 944's yes, 911s, no.
